Family markets cow chip shirts [1]
CORRY, Penn. — Funny things happen when two siblings get together and start remembering what it was like growing up. Some people grow misty eyed, while others decide to recreate those experiences.
For some, certain aromas such as fresh baked bread, take them back in time. For others, it is the smell of life on the farm, more specifically cow manure.
Last summer when Patti Froman Maine began reminiscing with her brother, Sonny Froman, they remembered helping their parents with chores.
"We always wound up with manure on our clothes," Patti said.
That memory was the spark that led them to the idea of making and selling one of a kind cow chip shirts.
