Tyler Crotty a seventh-grader was caught on tape struggling to stay awake behind the President on a televised speech [3]. The video was aired on David Letterman [4] as a gag. CNN falsely reported that the White House was complaining the yawning boy had somehow been digitally inserted. Later the network said Bush administration officials hadn't complained. Typical CNN... Facts? What are fact? The word didn't reach Letterman in time leading him to put his foot in his mouth saying, "So when you cast your vote in November, just remember that the White House was trying to make ME look like a DOPE." Letterman proved he needed no help making himself look like a DOPE. Never get your info from CNN Dave! Shame on you! There apparently were no hard feelings from the good natured President Bush. Tyler read aloud a letter he had gotten from the president, who wrote, "The hall was hot and my speech was long, so I understand why a fellow your age might nod off."
