    In case you weren't informed France has an Assistance Treaty with Ivory Coast. There is a dangerous rebellion there who threatens the legitimate government of this country so we have send our troops to protect our interests there, our citizens who works and lives there and to help the Ivorian troops to crush this insignificant rebellion. That's all and we do not request any foreign assistance.....

    Actually, france does suck. The country suffers from a national insecurity complex. It is a third rate power that must whine to be heard within the EU but inexplicably believes that it still has a voice in world affairs. it's very position on the UN security council is an anachronism that has its roots in the reconstruction following WW2. France is like a senile 70 year old that still lives in the past, endlessly prattling on about the good old days of imperialism. Patheitc really.
