Dunno, Bry. I and my wife had Verizon for about 4 years. No real problems. They were always helpful and all problems were resolved in pretty short order. Judging by how "professional" the site was, I would take it with a grain of salt. Even the first post I read said something like "This didn't happen to me... but my girlfriend... " You get the idea. Blah. If it was that bad, I wouldn't have stuck with them. I do know that Sprint is a pain in the a$$. :)
Good luck either way. What shiny new phone are you gonna get is a better question?

Tmobile (thru work) is OK on the coverage side - I love the no nationwide long-distance feature, but I think it costs $99/mo, that's little steep for me personally.
My brother & his wife have Cingular - I understand that it is also just OK on the coverage side. Have no idea what it costs.
Lots of friends have the Nextel plan .. I have heard some complaints about the "home" area definitions, tho.
I will be facing the same dilemma as you in the very near future & hope that this thread ends up with some useful info.

Thanks guys. I've found sites that compare the various companies and their services, but these sites pretty much suck. Gussers, I disgree, I think the phone itself is pretty much meaningless without good service. I've had terrible luck with Sprint, but my phone is ok.
