Nicholson, one of the original drivelers, had his free flat screen TV arrive last week! Thanks for sending me the photo's of the loot Nicholson, although I think you should sign up for one of those free camera gratis clone sites as those photo's are uber grainy. =)
My free flat screen PC monitor showed up last month. Deamay is looking for a free flat screen, spinzone_admin, from www.myspinzone.net sold out and is also looking for a free flat screen & a free mini Mac, planetjay got enough referrals for a 19" sony flatscreen, lucky dog!

As you probably know from my previous posts that I actually received my free ipod thanks to the help of several drivelers.
I've also gotten enough referrals to earn a free flat screen, and my free 17" LCD Samsung PC Monitor JUST arrived today! (pics to be posted later). Thanks again to drivelers like Deamay, planetjay (Free mac mini ), and nicholson (free xbox/ps2/nintendo ds/gamecube link) Read more for more pics of the free flat screen monitor.
I am still short 2 referrals for a free Dell desktop PC (with 5 out of the 10 needed completed referrals) Lest you think i'm a free gadget whore the free desktop is going to be a gift for my dad.
There's also FreeGamingSystem.com by gratis where you can get an free xbox,free slimline ps2, or free nintendo DS if that's more your gig (only 4 completed referrals required).
I realize a guy who runs a weird link/geeky/fart joke blog probably doesn't have all *that* much credibility but it looks like the gratis network and freeipods.com (Jakobud's referral link) really works if you can get 5 distinct people to sign up under you; and they complete an offer (like AOL or the like). So bottom line: If you can sell out and sign up for an offer (AOL, netscape ISP, or I highly recommend infone), and don't mind cajoling 5 friends into doing the same, you *can* get a free ipod, with only minor karma damage =) Don't forget to use a junk/free but valid email address (like a hotmail or yahoo -- just check the spam filter) as you may get innundated with "marketing" offers *cough* spam *cough*!
A few other folks that I sorta know (virtually or had some "real" world contact with) have gotten their free ipods as well: planetjay (his free ipod gallery) | scott at ultimate insult | a few folks at the build your own arcade controls forum got their free ipods and their free flat screen 27" sony wega TV's!

I've gotten enough referrals to also earn a free flat screen, and it's currently in STV (sent to vendor) status, which hopefully means I'll be styling with a 17" LCD Samsung PC Monitor in a week or two (or three). Thanks again to drivelers like nicholson (free console link), PlanetJay (free mac mini, Scott (got enough free flat screen referrals), and Deamay's(free Dell desktop PC (with 5 out of the 10 needed completed referrals)

It ARRIVED!!! My Free Ipod ARRIVED!!! Thanks for the help guys! Pics soon I know some of you are sick of hearing about it and think i'm pimping out the site too much, sorry =) But thanks to the help and support of some friends and drivelers alike, my free ipod is arriving today ARRIVED today! My free ipod arrived today, woot! Thanks everyone!
UPDATE: Scott who runs the Ultimate Insult got his 20gig ipod! hopefully mines only a week or two behind his. =)
UPDATE: I've completed my five referrals (Thank you guys!) and all my referrals were approved by gratis. I placed an "order" for my free HP 20gig Ipod (as supposedly there's more of the HP branded ipods available and are shipping faster). It's supposed to take 3 - 5 business days for the order to clear, but it took like 8 business days for mine to clear.
I'm now at the "Sent to Vendor, Waiting on Product" stage, which should mean that I'll be getting my ipod in 2 - 4 weeks, hopefully... =) (update: it's since gone to shipped and arrived!)

I'm now at 5 completed referrals for the ipod offer. In order for you to be eligible for your own free ipod, and for whoever referred you to be able to get theirs, you have to sign up for 1 thing. Want to know what the least painful (or cheapest out of pocket) offer to do is? Check out Rate Ipod Offers: I did AOL on one and Netscape ISP for another, I hear infone is pretty painless.
My suggestion is to sign up for one of the free trial offers and after you get "credit" for completing the offer wait a few days and cancel. Like AOL and Netscape internet. If it offers you the infone card one, that's a cool one as well because if you never use it, you'll never get charged AND you get a 10 dollar amazon gift certficate. The video professor is also easy and only 6 bucks for shipping (and credit shows instantly).
I suggest creating/using a junk email account BUT it's very important to check the spam/junk filter as the invites and verfication email/etc WILL get dumped there. Then it's just a matter of getting a few friends to sign up (hint post your referral url in your sig ) =)
Unfortunately you are probably best off using IE when using the gratis network sites and allowing popups on the site (yeah.. I know... there's a few hoops for "free" stuff, but it's worth it, right?)
UPDATE Wired article Freeipod.com feeling the heat Apparently the flow of ipods are too slow, presumably do to the explosion of interest in the program, and people are getting upset at how long their ipods take to get to them (but they *ARE* getting them)

Thanks to the people that signed up for free ipods under my referral, BUT for it to "count" you'd need to complete one of the offers (both to help satisfy my need of 5 referrals with offer completion, AND so that you can be eligible to get your free ipod). So, if you'd be so kind as to login in and sign up for AOL or something (and remember to cancel prior to the trial expiring) i'd appreciate it =)
A Boston NBC station did an "expose" on the free ipod thingie. You can read a transcript of the broadcast about free ipods, or watch the windows media archive of the free ipod story (fast forward to 15:15)

I surrender... I signed up for the fool Free iPods thingie. I feel like such a sucker and a heel. Like, they are going to display the names of all the people that fell for this marketing gimmick at the super bowl half time show and deride our naivety...
Heck, it's in wired news (more relevant free ipod links here and from engadget here ) it must be true right? Well feel free to use my referral url above and get 5 of your friends suckered, i mean signed up... and If I get my free ipod I'll be sure to post about it here...
I strongly suggest using a toss away or already spammed account for this endeavor, fyi. Also note their site is getting hammered (as you well can imagine, eh?) so refresh as necessary, also note: you have to use ie to register as it's .asp pages, yech...
