This is approximately in the backyard of the RandomDrivel HQ which makes it extra funny somehow =)
"A beer truck driver has been charged with drunken driving after state police said his speeding, weaving truck forced other vehicles, including three school buses off an eastern Connecticut road.
Robbins then head south on Route 85, prompting several emergency phone calls from people about a beer truck traveling erratically on the highway."
Sadly there was no beer truck accident sending cases of beer into the road...
Some geeks experiment with cheap vodka, running it through a Brita water filter... taking out the bitter tasting hangover inducing impurities, and claim it tastes better than the ketel one premium top shelf vodka after several runs through! Their drinkability test isn't very scientific, but it feels like a breakthrough of sorts.
Perhaps they should have done it as a double blind test, although
arguably drinking the vladmir straight *could* make one blind

www.beerneck.com the ultimate drinking tool! As seen on the Daily show!
The Key to BeerNeck lies in the Resealable Cap. Since a BeerNeck is made to be worn (whether on the neck or the hip), protecting the contents is essential. It not only opens any bottle with ease, it closes the bottle, sealing in freshness and the precious contents.

Earlier this month, the staff, faculty, and Board of Trustees at Virginia's private Alexandria Country Day School had a Mexican-themed dinner complete with some tasty margaritas. For some reason, the leftover hooch was placed in a school refrigerator.
This letter from school head Alexander Harvey was sent home with the kids. The margarita mixup came after the school ran out of milk and apparently had no negative affect of the students, who "sipped it and said that it didn't taste good."

"Heavy social drinkers show the same pattern of brain damage as hospitalized alcoholics -- enough to impair day-to-day functioning, U.S. researchers said on Wednesday. "

"Once, wine meant horse-drawn plows and barefoot workers stomping in a tub. These days, winemakers are more likely to depend on the juice running through their personal computers as they turn grapes into premium vintages."

I need your help! Well actually, I need the help of drivellers in the local area. I need your beer bottles! I've started making my first batch of home brew beer this week and will need to start thinking about bottling soon. (In about a week or so...)
So, if you live in CT and have some empty dark beer bottles, no screw tops please, shoot me a heads up via the comments section of this post. The deal is you can save a bunch of loot by reusing quality commercial beer bottles. I have my own bottle caps and a capper tool. Your empties will work just fine; I just need to sanitize them. Bottle contributions guarantee you a sample of the finished product! Cheers!
FYI- Dark beer bottles means bottles that are dark, it doesn't matter what color the beer was when the bottles were full. Sorry, I didn't explain that clearly. Clear bottles are not as good for beer making...

For years I have dreamt about making my own home brewed beer. Finally I'm about to make that dream a reality! I will be documenting my experiences over at Homebrewbeer.net in the hopes of enabling others to learn from my mistakes, swap "war stories" and hopefully have some fun in the process.
The sites just getting started, but in time, I hope to convert the site into a community driven discussion for brewing your own beer. Anything from home brew kits, how to's, recipes, to general beer discussions will be fair game. In the mean time, I invite you to join me as I embark on a brave new journey into home brewing! Cheers from thebryon!
