I got your witty quote *right here* buddy

People who drink light "beer" don't like the taste of beer; they just like to pee a lot.

Close Quarter Battle - Mike Curtis

\'Close Quarter Battle: The Explosive True Story of 15 Years under Fire\' and it is just that. Mike Curtis\' autobiography, from his days down the mines in the Welsh valleys, to his first war in the Falklands, then his personal struggle through \'selection\' and into the SAS.

This book is wrote with such extrodinary attention to detail, and gripping use of language that it\'ll hook you as well as Bravo Two Zero or any Tom Clancy book. After reading this book I can honestly count Curtis as one of the few people I admire, one of my heroes. The book not only looks at the combat side of things, but the strain put on his marriage and family durng his career, as well as the emotional and psychological side of soldiering.

Curtis writes in such a down to earth manner, modest of his own achievements and full of praise for others, that this really is a great book, for fans of the genre and newcomers alike...
