Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Appropriatley reviewed by moi, strider. The film opens with a wide panned view of the the mountains within which the mines of moria reside. Here we are taken back to see gandalfs perspective of what happened with the balrog. at this point i thought \'they better not keep using old footage, and although they did a little with regards to isengard, i forgive peter jackson for it. The films main plot angles are frodo and sam trying to get to mordor with the one ring with the help/hinderence of smeagol/gollum, and aragorn, gimli and legoleas attempting to find merry and pippin. The battle scenes are amazing, Helms deep looks better than i imagined, the funny bits are funnier, the cool bits are cooler, the death scenes are more painful (i felt a lot of sympathy for bormir (sean bean) being killed in the fellowship mainly because sean bean is a kick ass british actor). I would not say this film is better than its prequel, because its prequel is also brilliant, so my message to everyone is GO SEE THIS FILM!!! and if you havent seen the first one GO SEE THEM BOTH (in the correct order of course). and if you still dont get it READ THE BOOK!!! and if you still dont like it then screw you cos your a small minority =P
